Crónicas Desquiciadas: a fundraising play for México and Puerto Rico
Yessi Hernández will be performing in the play "Crónicas Desquiciadas" by playwright Indira Páez in New York City. The show will be donating every penny in response to the natural disasters that struck Mexico and Puerto Rico in 2017. She will be producing this project with the support of www.corezon.nyc, www.codocul.com and www.hispanicfederation.org. "Crónicas Desquiciadas" will be directed by Pablo Andrade, also starring Carmen Borla, Jatnna Marte, Kevin Mackenzie, Mateo Lamuño and Jerry Soto. This show will take place at the Rafael Villalona Theater located in 541 West 145th street (Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura) in two unique performances: December 1st and December 15th, 8pm.
Yessi Hernández performs at NY's premiere of Asesinas Anónimas
"Asesinas Anónimas" an original play by Rodolfo Santana will premiere next July 6th, 2017 at the Hispanic Theater Festival organized by the Dominican Commissioner in New York City. Actress Yessi Hernández will be performing the role of Camila along side a well recognized cast starring Mariana Buoninconti, Caridad del Valle, Martha Alzate and Adriana Galindez, directed by award-winning director María Fernanda Rodríguez.
Upcoming show: God of Vengeance
Yessi Hernández will be performing at Stella Adler Studio of Acting's new production 'God of Vengeance' directed by Kern McFadden in the role of Reyzl. Upcoming shows will be from May 30th to June 6th at the school's location in Manhattan, New York.
Best Actress Revelation of the year 2017 by Latin ACE Awards
Yessi Hernández has been nominated as Best Actress - Revelation of the year by the Latin Ace Awards for her performance in "Lo que Kurt Cobain se llevó". The play was performed on the summer of 2016 in New York City and received great comments by the critics. The winners of the Latin ACE Awards 2017 will be announced next January followed by a private ceremony in March.
Head&Shoulders - Copa América Commercial
Yessi Hernández was cast to be part of Head&Shoulders' new campaign for Copa América Centenario 2016.
The TV commercial showed 3 different couples from Mexico, Colombia and Argentina going through a make-over to support their favorite football team.
The spot was filmed in New York City and produced by Procter&Gamble and People Magazine.
